question about marriage licence

We obtained a marriage license, it expires april 12th. our wedding is on a saturday, april 10th. is it void if offiant files it the 13th of april? It has to be filed the 12th right? crazy question I know, just worrying now about it. thanks alot if you can answer this for me.

You should post this on your local board or call the clerk of courts office. They will be able to tell you.

I ditto PP. That is more of a legal question, so you may want to call the clerk of courts or whoever issues marriage licenses in your state.
