When fi gave me my first kiss, he missed and ended up kissing my nose. He said he could do better and asked to try again, so I let him. I still tease him about it today

Hmm, nothing to the extent that they showed on the TV! That was like she was trying to eat him or something...

It wasn't really "awkward," but for my first kiss with Fi I was the one who initiated it. I think it was our third time hanging out and I was sick of not knowing what it was like to kiss him, so I went for it!

I "went out " with a kid in 8th grade who was a horrible kisser. He used way too much tongue and had horrible breath. I don't think we dated much longer after that kiss...

My first kiss was pretty awkward. I was a freshmen in high school and was dating this guy for about a month...I could tell he wanted to kiss me, but I avoided it for a good 3 weeks. Finally, he really went for it and I instantly said, "do you want some chips?" and put the bag of chips in between us. hahaa. So awkward of me. We ended up kissing later that night, but that just set-up the kiss to be super awkward anyway!

We ended up dating for about 4 more years, so I guess it wasn't too devastating to him. ha.

When FI and I started dating I told him we were just hanging out as friends because I did NOT want to get into a relationship. We hung out 4 or 5 times and when he was leaving he asked if he could kiss me. It was cute, but awkward at the same time! Talk about pressure! haha!

Yes. The first time FI and I kissed. Right in the middle of the airport. First time I had ever met him in person. I was not expecting a full frontal snogging.

These are all so funny!! I guess my only awkward kiss was my first and only kiss before FI. It was with my 8th grade "boyfriend" at one of our dances. Oh middle school.

I had one very awkward unsual kiss.

I was in Stillwater which is a college/party town. I was just driving home from OKC and had to stop for gas. So I wasn't partying or anything. I would like to reiterate I was just getting gas!

While I'm filling up this guy comes over and starts asking me for directions. I told him I didn't live there and I only knew how to get to the campus (which was literally right around the corner). He looked unusally upset by that. I told him that I'm sure the clerk inside could help him. So he went in.

I finished and went in to pay. (ah, the days when you could pump then pay..) As I came out he was by my car again. He invited me to a party (which he now apparently knew how to get to). I declined. He begged. I declined. As I was getting in my car he grabbed my arm and kissed me.

It wasn't a bad kiss, but it was unexpected and unwelcome. I pulled away, got in my car, and left very quickly.

So the first guy I ever kissed wasn't a bad first kisser...he was just a bad maker-outer. I mean terrible. I was literally suffocating. I couldn't stop kissing him fast enough. I've heard he's come out of the closet, so I'm wondering if it was because he was kissing a girl and he liked boys?

Ash mine is kinda similar to that but he wasn't a complete stranger.

I had been talking to this guy through an online dating site and then facebook. We had been talking for a few weeks and had been talking about meeting up but had not done it yet. I had posted on facebook that I was going to a local venue for a concert with a friend and he commented that he MAY be there and would text me if he did. Well I was standing in the middle of the venue when all of a sudden someone walks up and picks me up, tilts me backwards, and kisses me. I was completely thrown off. When he set me down, I realized it was him but he was wasted drunk. The funniest part was that I hadn't told my friend about him at all because I didn't think it was a big deal and so she was even more surprised than me when it happened. Funny, but awkward with several thousand people watching him do that to me!

GAPeach, did you meet online? That's cool. It's kind of funny... my sister and friend Julie were kind of a trio in high school; all homeschooled, similar styles and beliefs and activities. Each one of us ended up marrying (well I'm on my way!) a "Good Christian homeschool boy" as I say, and all three of us found the guy online. Julie found her man via online university, Sister found hers through one of my online friends, and I found mine on Plenty of Fish. The other two besides me were both long distance and a lot of their dating was from states away.

Oh I forgot to mention my kiss!

No super awkward kisses for me, but FI and I had a debate about who went in for the first kiss! We were hugging at the door and I pulled and looked up at him back to say, "Thanks for being different", because I was loving how he was not like the other dipsticks I'd been with. He apparently though I was going in for a kiss, because before I could get any words out he dived right in! Haha. He thought I was being forward for kissing him so soon but he liked that; I made a mental note to say it later and just enjoyed my kiss. Definitely got butterflies.

My very first kiss was with a guy I was kinda dating at the time. Well, after the kiss he told me that I was a horrible kisser. Needless to say we didn't date for long after that... Looking back, he was borderline verbaly abusive. Good thing I got rid of him to start dating my now FI!!

Ugh my first kiss was horrible.

I had just started dating this kid in 10th grade. We drove home from school with my friend who went into the bank...I was in back seat and my "bf" was in the front. As soon as our friend got out of the car this kid literally jumps into the backseat and SHOVES his tongue down my throat. I wanted to die. Things really did not get better after that.

So in Middle School I had a boyfriend for a few months and we would give a little peck on the lips after school, before we went home. One day, as we have our lips closed in a peck, he decides to stick his tounge out and basically lick my closed mouth. Yuck!! It was so weird/awkward. I pulled away as fast as I could. Then he tried it again the next day. I'm pretty sure I broke up with him after the second attempt.

My most awkward had to be when a good guy friend of mine kissed me in college my junior year. I was taking a philosophy class which I hated and sucked at writing the weekly essays. My friend was a phiosophy major and knew the professor well and he would proof read my essays every week. I was having a hard time on a certain topic so I asked if he could help me brainstorm. He agreed and I went to his apartment. I was sitting on is couch and he asked to see my notes as he sat down and reached for them he kissed me. His lips first ended up on my chin and then he made is way to my mouth. It was very wet, hot, and sloppy. I was stunned before I could push him off. The reason that made it more awkward was for the 3 years I knew him, I always thought he was gay. What followed was an even more awkward conversation.

My fist kiss was with a guy I went to high shcool with. We didn't date back then though. I moved to MT and he had just gotten out of Basic and somehow got my email address. We started talking online, and then calling. So it was kind of an internet/phone relationship. Well, I went to Portland to visit and we decided to get together. Basically, there was no attraction there for me. He was very nice, but I just wasn't feeling it. Anyway, we made out and it was the grossest thing ever. I felt sick. I don't know if it because I wasn't attracted to him, or he was a bad kisser, but ew!

FI is a much better kisser! haha! Side story: When we started dating FI would come to my apartment, then before he left I would walk him to his car and we would make out. I would sit on the hood of his car, and he would stand, since I am a foot shorter.

Well, one night, this pickup drives by, and then turnes around. They come by hooting and hollering and yell, "Get R Done!" haha. It still makes me smile to this day.
