Boulder Wedding Help

FI and I are new to Boulder and would like to know if anybody has any ideas or recommendations for ceremony/reception venues (in-door preferable due to CO heat in June/July), florists, cakes, and caterers in the area. Our budget is around 5,000, so if this is even possible, I would love to hear what you guys think!

Welcome to Colorado! I lived in Boulder for a year before moving to Denver and loved it, it's just a gorgeous place.

I'd recommend this link: http://www.stylemepretty.com/little-black-book/colorado/boulder/ That blog has a lot of great recommendations for local vendors. (And of course, so does the Knot).

In particular, I've heard amazing things about Tee and Cakes, which does both wedding cakes and dessert favors. Honestly, the Whole Foods in Boulder does some pretty awesome cakes as well.

To help keep you under budget, I would recommend Craigslist for some things, particuarly a photographer since you might be able to tap a CU photography graduate who would be a lot less than a pro. Sorry I don't have any venue recommendations. I just can't think of anywhere off the top of my head that would be budget-friendly in Boulder.

The usual recommendations for weddings on a $5k budget is to do a morning/afternoon ceremony. To stay on my budget, I live in Denver and am having it at Wash Park. Denver has a few other city park locations that they rent.

You could have the wedding at Flagstaff Amphitheater in Boulder Mountain Park.
