I guess I'm still a newb on this board.

1. What made you choose The Knot? A friend of mine talked about it ALL the time and when I finally got engaged, I was hooked!
2. Are you engaged? yeah, not for long, though!
3. If you are, when is the wedding? If you aren't, do you think the proposal is coming soon? A week from today!

4. What do you do for a living? I'm a preschool teacher.
5. How long have you and your S/O been together? Going on 3 years.
6. Tell a little about yourself. I take pride in my values. I am not one to judge on the spot. I do like to tell people how I feel about things and am not afraid to hear other people's concerns. I don't know. I'm a little cool.

2. Are you engaged? Yes ma'am.
3. If you are, when is the wedding? If you aren't, do you think the proposal is coming soon? The wedding is June 27th, 2010 - a summer Sunday less than three months away.
4. What do you do for a living? High School English teacher.
5. How long have you and your S/O been together? A little over three years.
6. Tell a little about yourself. Engaging in a small-scale comeback to this site -- got super busy there for a while and stopped posting. I like to eat, drink, and run. I crack the right jokes at the wrong time. I'm responsible with money. I can diagram almost any sentence.

Middle School Band Director in the Boston suburbs. Before that I was a performing musician for a stage show in Japan.

5. How long have you and your S/O been together?

2.5 years, engaged for about 2 mos.

6. Tell a little about yourself.

Type-A, loving the DIY aspect of planning, super-nerd, home chef, microbrew lover, musician, Chicagoan . . . and beer, again. My fiance is certifiably nuts, and I love it. That's about it!

I work at a publishing company but I got laid off and my last day is in June, and after that I'm going to online school to (maybe one day!) become a paralegal. And I'll probably work retail in the meantime for some extra money.

5. How long have you and your S/O been together?
Since September 2006 and engaged since June 2009.

6. Tell a little about yourself.
I read fantasy and sci-fi and listen to prog rock and metal. So basically I'm a big dork

My sig pic is my cat; he was sitting nicely on his cat condo and I wanted to take a picture of him, but he yawned right when I took the photo, causing his face to blur and look all crazy.

The wedding is 10/14/10

I am a wedding coordinator at a lodge in the mountains in Colorado

5. How long have you and your S/O been together?
We have been together for 3 years, he proposed soon after we started dating, and we have known eachother since we were little kids, we went to school together.

6. Tell a little about yourself.
Um...I went to school for Interior Design, but somehow ended up doing weddings, I love it though! My fiance is returning home from the Marine Corp as we speak! He's done with the military, yay!!

I adore the fact that there are 2 music teacher newbs on here! Yeah!

What is your main instrument?

I'm a choir teacher, but also play reeds (flute, clar, sax, in that order) and mallet/aux percussion. I started as a percussionist, fell into reeds and starting singing somewhere along the way. When I was in NY, I played shows all the time, so that's really how I developed the reed chops.

You, too! We are moving...eventually, so I have no idea if we'll be here next year. It depends on DH's job. And now with the baby coming, there are just sooo many unknowns. It's frustrating, but there's nothing I can do.

I hear ya about answering that question! I also play piano because I have to, but I suck at it. I always forget to mention it when I tell people what I play.

I'm so sad that all my horns are sitting in the closet down here. I miss shows and I miss playing!
