Re: **Miami or South Beach Hotel Recommendations**

  • Do you want to stay in SoBe or are you open to other places? Will you have a car? And most important what is your budget?

If you want SoBe/Miami Beach, I’ve never stayed there, but the most popular are:

    Delano: http://www.delano-hotel.com

    Carlton: http://www.carltonsouthbeach.com

    The Palms: http://www.thepalmshotel.com

    Catalina: http://www.catalinahotel.com

Miami Beach Resort and Spa: http://www.miamibeachresortandspa.com

What I know about SoBe is that you need to be careful; some small hotels are very expensive and dirty… Eww!

If you are open to stay somewhere else, downtown is very nice. It has a lot of the nightlife of SoBe but less expensive and with more locals – SoBe has more tourists than anything… I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Brickell Downtown (http://www.hamptoninnmiamibrickell.com/). It is a very nice hotel with breakfast and Wi-Fi included. It is also #1 on tripadvisor.com and a block from Mary Brickell Village (http://www.marybrickellvillage.com/), the nightlife of downtown.

There is also Coconut Grove, a nice and quieter neighborhood that you will need a car… CocoWalk (http://www.cocowalk.net/) is the place to party in Coconut Grove. There I stayed at the Hampton Inn Coconut Grove (http://www.hamptoninncoconutgrove.com/). Also a very nice hotel with breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking included!

    Hope I could help you!

  • Thanks so much for the information.
