AW Thursday!

Sunday is our one year anniversary. I still can't believe it! Saturday we are going to dinner at 560 (cannot WAIT!) and Sunday we are (hopefully) eating our wedding cake, drinking champagne, and looking at our album, cards, and guest book. While we watch the Cowboys lose to Green Bay.

Yay for DJs, engagements, and boudoir!

I actually have two today! We leave for NOLA on Saturday for a much needed break from work.

I had my hair and make up trial this past weekend, and booked for my mom, myself and my bridesmaids for the wedding!

560 - yum! DH took me there for my birthday earlier this year. He got the quail, I got the pork chops. The quail was delicious! And there were like 6 breasts so it was plenty of food (he almost didn't order b/c he thought there would only be one bird). I don't recommend the pork chops, but everything else we had was delicious!

Im seriuosly freaking out too. I definately need to lose weight and hopefully will by the wedding (but still not enough my goal is 50lbs) but at the same time this is who I am and FI loves me anyways so why not.

I am doing them at the Nylo which is where we are spending the night of the wedding at so that should be fun.

Tiffany you look great and as you know chelsea is fantastic at minimizing the things you dont like and highlighting the things you do. Between yesterdays posts with stephie and soontobe along with seeing my engagements it really convinced me to just take the plunge. I thought I would have fat arms, double chin, all that but I dont so I know she will do her magic on the b-pics as well.

Ooo, ooo! I do have one!! My MOH's (yes, I have a matron and maid) ordered their dresses this weekend... we went to Bridal Co. in Denton and we had a great experience!! Their dresses will be black with a red sash... so try to ignore the colors they have on...

Here's Kate (my MATRON of Honor)... we will be adding a stitch to the bust area... what can I say? She's blessed.

And this is Devyn, my sister (MAID of Honor)

I really love the dresses on these girls... so pretty! The rest are going this weekend... yay!!

I have kind of a bittersweet one. My ILs came to see my dad at the hospital on Sunday and, afterwards, Bill's dad told him, "We won't expect you at Thanksgiving or Christmas." I was a bit relieved that they finally seemed to understand what's going on and how it affects the holidays.

My AW is we are having a our 3rd post wedding shower called a "pagosha" on Saturday. I can't remember if I shared this before or not, but in the Persian culture, newly wed couples are celebrated after the wedding by each side of the family and close friends by having a big party with food and dancing. It's kind of similar to a shower but after the wedding.

<div>Thanks! After a couple of trials (including ones recommended on here) I ended up loving the work that was done at my friend's wedding (she paid for all of us to get hair and makeup). It's Make Up Logic, Kelly Schira is based in Allen. She was already booked for my wedding, but she has a team of girls, so my makeup and hair will be done by Vetty Velasquez (who did the trial) and her assistant.</div>
