NEED HELP WITH GUEST LIST!

Hey everyone, i was hoping to get some help with my guest list and tips on how to cut it down. We have close to 300 people, and i realized that i can cut my list down. There are abotu 30 people from work that i have on my guest list, most of them I barely talk to or have a conversation with unless its work related. Is it ok to not invite those people? and not sent out invitations to them? I only wanted to invite them because i wanted to be nice, but i realized I'm paying per person for dinner, and there are people i dont even talk to so i dont see the point of paying for them. Any ideas? or tips?

Thanks!

As long as you haven't invited them already -- whether with a save the date or a verbal invitation -- then you're fine to cut them from your list. If you are inviting anyone else from work be sure to be discreet by sending the invitation to the coworker's house and not talking about it at work.

  • Eagles, you make me laugh.

What PPs have said re: STDs applies here. STD = invite, so if you already sent those, you're screwed. If not, you have room. FWIW, I didn't invite any current coworkers, just old ones who I actually see outside of the office. I also knew a girl that invited coworkers based on whether she had their personal phone number in her cell phone. Not a bad way to make the cut. 30 is a lot of coworkers -- is that 60 with dates?!
