Yeah, I hear you. Our reception was at noon and the DOC kept trying to talk me out of serving brunch instead of lunch. But seriously, it was a big hit.

We didn't want to make it unreasonably early because we'll still have to get a bunch of people ready and do some photos.
We're Methodist, the ceremony shouldn't last more than 20 minutes. And the reception is 2 blocks away.
