Wedding Woes

Rant-Apparel Related

H and I went to the college town locally to buy UoI shirts for the upcoming season.  I didn't have any that weren't the wrong color or just hideous.

No problem finding H what he wanted.

ME?

All the women's shirts were either:
a.  Pastel puke colored, not gold OR black
b.  Spangly or sparkled
c.  Hoed out.  Deep vnecks or burnout, which means semi-see through.

I ended up getting one men's small and a youth large.  Both fit me better and were appropriate colors.

I was just so annoyed that they couldn't provide a good women's shirt.  WTF?

I find all of the sports gear sold at the Univ. store is sized really weird. Like, the ladies large fits me like a baby tee. I usually go the route you did - with the youth apparel.

Yes.  I don't want a tiny shirt, I want a shirt that covers all the required areas.

H bought me a shirt and I guess he thinks I am the size of an Olsen twin, because the thing is so tiny it could fit a Barbie doll.

The last "women's" shirt our school put out was burnout zebra stripes with hot pink lettering. Go Team!

The first FB game of the year, our town has a big party, theres a booth where you can order custom shirts. Saves my dignity every year (you try stuffing my 38G's into a "women" size anything.)

PP, I hear you. I bought a new Ohio State shirt, it SAID XL. It is a medium for sure.
I do not wear tight stuff- especially for a night game (7:30 tonight) where it will still be 86 at kickoff and 81 when the game is over - and then EARL sweeps in and we get the rain  Earl pushed back west and it will be down to 73 for a high and talking about wind chill.

    GO BUCKS!

I get stabby when I see all of the pink jerseys on display at Cardinal Games.  Is it really so horrible for a woman to wear white and red?

The sports fan in me hates the pastel (usually pink) and sparkly team shirts.  I haven't bought a women's team shirt in awhile because of that.
