re: RDs - we did anyone involved with the wedding party only, plus I invited the photographer, videographer and officiant as a nice gesture. After the RD is when we met up with our entire family and friends who were from out of town, and combined it to have a "kinda sorta" bachelor(ette) party in the West End. I bought a few appetizer platters so we could have tables reserved but that cost me less than $100 to get that set up, and everyone is still talking about it.

We went to Gators in the West End. Their catering menu is online, so I just e-mailed that week and asked for them to have a few platters waiting on us. We had about 55 people all near the karaoke area.

Ugh, work SUCKS sometimes. Anyone else ever have one of those days where you've pushed yourself to your breaking point and you are *this* close to grabbing your purse and just walking out? That is the day I just had. Now that I'm home, I'm hoping it gets better. My supervisor's A/C is out, so my day could definitely be worse.
Wendi - what an awesome idea! I didn't have a bach party so this would have been such a cool thing to do. It's been a long time since I've been to Gators, but when we did go it was really fun!
