  I will be wearing a traditional mantilla veil during the ceremony, an orchid in my hair during the reception and a black fascinator and birdcage during the after party (dress change here as well.)  I tried a more traditional veil and with that I would have had a small tiara-like headpiece, but when I went for the traditional mantilla, I scratched the headpiece.
  
  Try things on with your dress.  If you like the look, go for it....there are a million options anymore.

  I think that I'm going to wear a veil for the ceremony, with a flower in my hair so that when I take it off for the reception, I don't feel too plain.

  Which did you like better? "Jedi" or "The Empire Strikes Back"? "Empire". Blasphemy. "Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

  I'm going to wear a flower...no veil for me I decided a long time ago!

  I wore a veil, a bumpit and pearl clips to keep my hair out of my face.

  I am wearing a circlet as my headpiece.  I had it custom made from www.medievalbridalfashions.com--if you look at their gallery, mine is their Silvermoon Circlet.  It will be accompanied by my double-teired cathedral veil from www.glamgaldesigns.com. I will post pics soon after our wedding.
