Married with reviews!

Hi all just got back to the UK. It was absolutely fantastic and couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day.

Hotel - Caesars Palace - A

We went for the caesars wedding package which included 2 free nights in the palace tower overlooking the pools. Amazing. We had a bathroom each and a double shower! There was no line for check in and service was great. Anyone can use the pool during the week and we often found guests of ours that were staying at different hotels lounging around the pool cos it was so lovely.

Hair and Makeup - Colour by Boychuck- A

This was included in the package and I was extremely impressed. I said kind of what I wanted and it was much better than what I would have thought of. There was a free trial included which I used for the bachelorette party. The staff were really warm and friendly too. Pretty expensive if you were to get it not included in the package. Also paid for my bridesmaids to have their hair put up which was $110.

Wedding ceremony - Venus Garden - A

Our ceremony was in the venus garden, its right next to the pool and you can go into it to have a look whilst going to the pool. This did mean it wasn't a suprise to our guests who had already been to check where it was but at least I suppose noone got lost. The garden is absolutely beautiful and have some amazing pictures. Another bonus was, it was 105 degrees so i was worried how hot everyone would be but it was shaded by the time we got married late afternoon. Also didn't hear any outside noise. Officiant was great and ceremony was only about 10 minutes which was fine by us.
My WC was Melissa who was fab, didn't have much dealings with her but didn't need to as it was all very efficient, flowers (caesars own florist) were beautiful big roses.

Photography - Imagine studios - B

Photographer was great, really put you at ease and knew where to get the best pictures. They have come out great, only trouble is trying to decide which ones to get as there are so many that I love!
The only reason I am not giving this an A is the prices, we had prints included in the package but if we wanted to get the cd with copyright its $800! And i know its my wedding day but i refuse to pay so much.

Reception - Canaletto's (venetian) - A

We booked the Murano room, which was a private room with balconies from which you could see and listen to the opera singers in st marks square and made for a very romantic setting and good pictures. We had 36 guests. We asked Canaletto's to put wine on the tables and we also dropped the favours off a couple of days before which they set out for us which saved a lot of hassle. Food was delicious, guests had the choice of 4 main courses, we also had a vegetarian and they basically told him he could have anything he wanted and said it was one of the best meals he'd had. Guests then went on the gondolas before we got on the DDB.

Double decker bus company - A

Well this was probably the best decision we made. We weren't going to do this originally but because we had kids coming and I also wanted our guests to see freemont and have pictures at the vegas sign we booked it.
Our guests keep on talking about how great this was, it kept everyone together. We took an ipod and ended up singing on the buses microphone to 'White wedding' going down the strip. The host was great and kept on bringing beers up to the top deck and handing them out, he was also very funny. Guests loved freemont and said they wish they had been there sooner in the week.
We hired it for 3 hours and had plenty of time at the sign and freemont went from 9-midnight.
Only thing was we lost one guest before we got on the bus, the venetian tour bus lobby was hard to find and one of our guests (probably after a few too many beers) broke off from the group to go on the slots and then couldn't find anyone, he also couldn't remember where we were meant to be meeting, so without his phone on him, an unsuccessful search party and 15 mins sat on the bus we had to decide to leave him. So I'd probably recommend including a map in the invites to where it picks up from.

We dropped the beer off the day before at the company, this cost $70 in a taxi from the strip (return), also Michael wasn't there when we arrived, he'd told us if this was the case to just leave it on one of the buses, we did this but it worried me as there were other people about and I thought it would have been robbed but luckily it was all there on ice the next day.

Well I think thats it. We had a fab honeymoon in San francisco and New york but vegas remains my number one.
Food and drinks wise I'd recommend the sugar factory, margaritaville and duelling piano bar in harrahs.
Thanks knotties for all your help!
