Affordable (but delicious!) Caterers on Cape Cod/Near Falmouth

My fiance and I are looking for an affordable (yet yummy) caterer for our wedding potentially at Highfield Hall in Falmouth, MA.  We are expecting about 225 guests and have a relatively small budget, so that means we need an affordable catering option!  We're hoping for a buffet that ranges about $20-$40 per person.  Does anyone have any ideas for who to consider?  Also, what about any local liquor stores that offer a bartender and wine & beer sold by consumption?

Thank you!!!

Try calling Andys in Mashpee or Teaticket market in Falmouth for the bar needs.

We had talked to Eat Your Heart Out Caterers when we were thinking of a similar option for our wedding. We decided to go with the Sea Crest and did not need a separate catering company. They were very accommodating and were willing to work with our budget. Another option if you would be interested in a Clambake is Clambakes etc. out of Osterville. For 150+ people a pot-style clambake is only $28.95 per person. You can add a raw bar for the cocktail hour for another $8.95. We really wanted to do the clambake, but couldn't find a reception site within our budget. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

We used Chef Roland and he was amazing. He's based out of Falmouth/Teaticket and was great with working within our budget, although it was a little higher than that. We had way more food than we needed though, so I bet he could have more than enough within your budget.

Unfortunately, no website, but you can find his phone number online. He was the least expensive of caterers I called.

Rolands is by far the least expensive.   and really good.

I also love david goldberg ( jacquelines catering in north falmouth....)  don't know their pricing though.

we also used Chef Roland!!! He is amazing but a little scattered! My guest are still talking about his food and the appetizers are to die for. We had 13 different apps, sit down dinner of filet, and gelato bar with hot fudge and fruit toppings. If I remember correctly it was 65 a head, but i am sure he will work with your budget and give you e something great! We used Johns for all our liquor, it worked out great, you only pay for what you use. We has a lot of heavy drinkers and it was about $2,000 for open bar the whole night! HTH

We went with Chef Roland as well! He and his staff leave no stone unturned. But others that are great are Eat your heat out, Jaquelines, Arties Cafe, and Lavishly Dunn (they are out of weymouth) They all have excellent food and service!

I recently used Eat Your Heart Out.  The food was good and people kept talking about how good it was - especially the apps at the cocktail hour. The staff at the wedding was also very good and accomodating.  However,  I had trouble with the catering manager Jen.  She was not too responsive over emails and when she was it was a struggle to get things correct on the first try.  I talked at length about how we were not doing just a cake but also had a whole dessert spread.  When I walked into the tent after the cocktail hour only the cake was displayed.  I then had to have my mom ask where the rest of the desserts were and they had no idea that there was anything else.  I had to show them where the rest of the desserts were and they had to scramble to get them out.  The head caterer at the wedding said that sometimes people talk at length with Jen, and things are in Jen's head, but they never get communicated.  Also, there was a last minute issue with my rentals - at the end it was resolved but with an added cost that was A LOT more than I expected and I asked her to review the rental list at least 3 times prior to that and those are only 2 examples.  There were several more issues.  Overall, good food, good service on day of wedding, terrible communication problems with admin at the company.

<div>I am going to look into Chef Roland! How do you make it work with the bar? You mentioned you used John's for the liquor--was it a pour your own or do they provide bar tenders as well? Did you just do beer and wine? </div>
