Fur Babies

Since we got to see Angela's cute doggie on SA, I want to see everyone elses babies

Here are mine

Jeter is my 10 year old schnauzer/beagle mix. I got him around Valentine's when I was 16 out of a box of free puppies at Walmart.

Toby is my 5 year old Cairn terrier (Toto) and my problem child. He stole a bone at Petco the other night.

This is Lexi affectionately called Sabi, short for Wabi Sabi because of her floppy ear. I got her from a kill shelter about 6 years ago, she's about 11 now. she follows FI and sleeps under his chair when he plays video games. This is a pic of us in Galveston.

And (EEEEEEEEE) i'm getting FI a puppy for christmas! I went to see them over thanksgiving and picked one. We're getting the black and white one thats on the top of the pile. His name will be Courage. FI has wanted a puppy for years, so he's had the name for a while. He'll be ready 3 days after Christmas, Fi will open a box with a collar and name plate. :) Mom is a bird-dog (type), and we don't know dad. A friend of mine took in momma not knowing she was preggers!!

Here is our other doggie, Hunter!! We got him from a humane center a few months ago, they had picked him up off of the street!

& the only picture I have of our girl Abby since she's grown up is of her yawning! Laughing

& another pic of Chunk. :)

This is our pug A.J. when we were in Galveston.  He is 1 right now and will be 2 in April.  He had a lot of fun playing in the sand!

This is our other pug Polly.  She is three this year.  She is more the type to just want to sit in your lap all the time.

And we will have a new addition to the family (a boxer) soon enough!

Heres one of my babies, her name is Bailey.  She is a Wheaten Terrier.  Shes almost 2.  She is looking very festive for Christmas

This is Bear.  We just got him about 2 months ago. He is about 18 wks old now.  He is also a Wheaten Terrier.  Once he gets older and gets hair cuts he will eventually be white just like Bailey.

    I LOVE this thread!!

Ahhh this is great!!  Cute fur babies everyone!

Here is my fur baby Chloe.  He... yes I said he, was my mom's and I took him in when he was about 2 or 3.  When she got him the papers said Chloe was a "she", but the vet who "fixed" him said otherwise.  So he was stuck with Chloe!!  HA  Chloe is about 11 yrs old and I just love him!

As you can see... he loves sitting on or under random stuff!! :)

    Mandaroo,
That's hilarious!  When my brother adopted his cat, we thought it was a boy so we named him "Cicero".  A vet at a mobile until said that she felt Cicero was actually a girl so Clark named her "Aurora".  We take her to be fixed (since you can't tell by looking) and the vet called us back in ten minutes and said "There's no need to spay your already neutered male cat."  My dad and I still laugh about it.

I love this thread.  I am a very proud "mama".  Here is my fur baby.  Her name is Lola.  She is a long-haired chihuahua - or so I was told.  DH wants to do a DNA test on her just for fun - to see what she's made of.  She will be 5 in February and she is beyond spoiled.

Lola - not impressed that I put her in a box.

    Lola's summer haircut.

Lola's normal long-haired look. (Guarding her penguin ferociously)

    Awww, such sweeties!

This is Crispin.  He turned 3 last month.  He's a 5lb maltepoo, and he has so much personality.  And also possibly a sleeping disorder.  He's also spoiled completely rotten, and minds me better than anyone else, which drives H mad :)

A funny thing about him:  he has separation anxiety.  Severely.  So we try to make hasty exits when we leave him alone.  We used to say "Ready?" to each other, but he caught on... then it was Ready-Spaghetti? and he learned that too, so we shortened it to spaghetti... Now we just say random pasta types when we're ready to leave, and sometimes we forget and do it when he isn't around, but when other people are... we get reallllllly funny looks when we ask our guests if they are "Lasagna??"

I love this, it just brightened my morning before I disappear into Christmas party Hell.

Angela, is Chunk anything like my beagle and just dying to be loved? I swear Jeter has self esteem issues if he doesn't get enough cuddle time.

This is Molly. But we usually call her Juh-juh. It started as baby-talk of "You're just a baby," that turned to "Juh-juh baby," and now she's just Juh-juh. We actually had a long discussion on how to spell Juh-juh, while having dinner at Macaroni Grill and playing with the crayons.

    And yes, she's spoiled.

Laura, she's precious... what kinda dog?

     AWW...cute animals everyone!!

This is my baby "Jack."  A co-worker of mine found him on the corner of his street in Dallas.  He was heartworm positive which is usually a death sentence if they end up in the pound because it's so costly to treat.  As soon as I saw his sweet face I just knew I had to save him.  He has turned out to be the best dog ever!

This is our, well DH's baby, "Lexie."  She is a great ball of energy and she and Jack just play so well together.  She just turned 5 years old on Thanksgiving.

This is "Tinkerbell."  She is such a diva.  It's her way or the highway.  I got her from a friend of a friend who was going to have her put down because she can be tempermental and pee on things if she's unhappy.  I couldn't let that happen so now we just try to keep her happy!  I think she is around 8 or 9 years old.

This is our kid, Conor.  He'll turn 4 in March....I sometimes wonder how I'll be with a real kid.  I adore Conor and so I can only imagine how much loving a child would be!

This is a pic that made into the book Dog Joy.  It's an entire book of smiling dogs.  Seriously cute gift and great to look at when you need a pick-me-up!

    Serious ears on the kid.

And last but not least, this year's Santa pic.

The vet thinks she's a poodle chihuahua mix. But I'd also love to get the doggie DNA test! I'm pretty sure she does have the poodle in her, because I'm not allergic to her.

Balfour - Those ears! Very cute. :)

These are crappy pics but I just got a new phone so I deleted all on my old pics and I found these on DH's FB :)

This is my fat baby Kingston...he is like mandaroo's cat, he sleeps/lays down in the strangest most uncomfortable places. His favorite is jumping on the window seal and pushing a drawer in the dresser out so that he can climb into the one underneath it and sleep in a drawer...he is a CLEVER little butthead! :)

This is Mozart. He is the crazy super hyper cat that loves playing
(he was yawning when DH took this pic...we thought it was hilarious...it looks like he is screaming haha)

and LOVES being outside!! This is him on top of the roof. If we let him out back (which is fenced in) he will find a way to get on the roof and walk to the front and then hop off....then he roams around the front yard playing with birds and bugs :)

Love this thread!  These are my babies!

This is Aggie, our 4 year old Collie. He is a great dog that is adjusting very well to our home!  Got to say he is the best wedding present ever!!!

This is Sophie, our 2 year old Border Collie.  She is begging for attention because she thinks she is so neclected.  She is spoiled rotten so don't believe her!  She is still adjusting to having Aggie around and has a really hard time sharing us but she
    is still a great dog!

    OMG so much cute everywhere!!

Gabby is a MinPin that lives with my parents, because I got her and wasnt able to care for her as best I could (too much work, not home enough).  She is showing Zoey who's boss, Zoey is a Jack Russell terrier.

Cody (short haired, on the right) and Karin (long haired on the left) are brothers from another mother... for real!  My FI got them from some guy at work, and they have the same father.  FI thought that Karin acted like a girl, so that's how she got her name... then when we got them fixed we found out "she" was a "he" but we still call her "she" because she DOES act like a girl!

Cody is the curious one, who's gotta get into EVERYTHING:

And Karin just lays around like a log:

This is Sasha. She's an almost 3 yr old Doberman Pinscher, rescued from Doberman Rescue of North Texas when she was about 6 months old. She's very sweet, but mischievous too.

This is her the day it snowed in February.
