In-Suite Brides - Helpful Bar/Liquor Supply List

I got this today from the bartender service we are using, Culinary Pros as recommended by MC, we won't have 100 guests so will obviously be doing some amendments and just not wanting some items, but it's a nice little list to go off of. Let me know if you want me to email to you, I have it in a Word attachment that they sent.

Edit - I copied and pasted this in here, and it got all messed up, so I fixed it as best I could. 2 Gin should be under 2 Scotch but it won't let me move it there:)

I would reduce the bottles of gin and scotch and bring in more rum and a tequila. I'd also kill that second whisky in favor of rum or tequila.

I am a HUGE gin drinker but we have done bottle service many times and the gin does not get drunk. You're better off with more vodka, tequila or rum, IMO. I'd also consider swapping in a liqueur like baileys, amaretto or grand marnier...especially if doing margaritas. I mean, if you are going to drink a marg, drink a cadillac!

I'd also get more tonic than soda...but that is just me.

Thanks for the thoughts Smokey! It's totally just a list, I hadn't looked too much at it yet to see how we are going to cater it to our and guests liking. So it's nice to get opinions before we do. I just thought it was a good starting point for people to look at, that's all:)

Is that all the beer and wine recommended for 100 guests? My sister had that many guests at her wedding and we had 60 bottles of red wine, 60 white and 60 champagne! Maybe our friends and family drink too much!?!

You had 180 bottles of wine in addtion to all of the hard liquor that is listed above? Did they drink all of the beer, wine and spirits (and mixers)?

I love Gin and Gin loves me.

But it is an acquired taste. Also, I have a friend who is allergic to juniper berries and can't drink gin anyway. I would always swap out a vodka for the gin. Most people drink vodka martinis rather than gin ones so vodka is always safe. Plus as long as it isn't super shitty vodka, it can be mixed with anything and taste okay.
