What's near the Art Museum?

We are going to do our e-pics tomorrow and FI suggested we go to the Art Museum, but where else can we go that is near there?

(We had a change of plans from the bakery in Rittenhouse where we got engaged, I forgot to call to make sure it was ok and I don't think I should since I didn't talk to the GM)

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

You can walk to Logan Square, which has the fountain. That's also right near the library and the Franklin Institute.

You and your photog should totally pay to do the eastern state tour (or just ask them to let you in) there are some awesome stone hallways i'm not even kidding.

You could also head down Kelly Dr and hit bowhouse row, etc.

hs0511- I was thinking of going to kelly drive actually! Might have to do that.... our pics are at 4 so I want to get some nice sunset photos too if we end up taking that long.

I can't wait to see some of the results. We are taking our epics in a couple weeks and most likely doing Kelly Dr (and if so, probably a little at the Art Museum). I'd Love to see how yours look!!

I was just there a few hours ago checking out the sites.
The Glendinning Rock garden is neat looking, as are the other places people have mentioned. Just be mindful, anything considered owned by the fairmount park comission requires a permit to take pictures. How heavily it's enforced is beyond me.

Haha, shows how well I read!
I see pictures all the time on and around the museum but I'm leary that because I "signed" a permit application for the ceremony to be at the Gazebo that reminds you the steps are a no-go for pics. I have to assign a guest to hold some bribe money
