Reception Venue for Friday wedding

Hey Girls, I'm looking for a venue in the Central Florida area, preferably near Windimere or even Davenport/Kissimmee. The wedding is in Windimere, so I don't want to have to drive too far. Looking to seat 30-40 guests. Want to be able to bring our own food/caterer. Will decorate ourselves too. Would be nice if reception hall had chairs and tables already but can accommodate if not. On a very limited budget, so looking to rent a recption hall for cheap. THANKS!

Try looking into community centers in the area. They should have rooms available for rent that you can decorate and bring your own food. If you're looking to bring alcohol there might be restrictions on that, though, so you should check into that when you're researching your options.

I work for another local government in the area and I know we rent out community rooms but I don't know about Orange County's policies. Try calling some of the numbers listed on that page and asking them about it. If push comes to shove and the person on the other end (likely to be a seasonal recreation assistant that doesn't know much) can't help you ask for Parks and Recreation's main line -- somebody in OCPR should be able to tell you if rooms are available for rent and what their pricing schedule is
