How are you all doing on getting your invites back? I feel like all my DIY is almost done, I still have a chalkboard bar menu to make, and some finishing touches on the ceiling decor... Then I'm waiting on guest bags until a few weeks before... What do you all have left to make? I know I must be missing something... But not sure what it is!!!

My invites just went out last Tuesday, but we've had 3 people use our online RSVP so far (we used both the paper option and the online option). I'm expecting to get at least a few cards in the mail today or tomorrow. I still have a bunch of DIY stuff like finishing menus, programs, welcome bags, gluing moss on the votives, and making the part of the centerpieces that have to go to the florist. Hoping to get all that done by the end of June and then I'll be DONE!

I haven't sent my invites out yet. Thinking I will do that the end of this week or next week. DIY I have my programs left and blinding out my shoes and favors. But I'm waiting till July to do the favors. I have the boxes purchased. Just need to by chocolate and fill them.

our invites went out last week also.

i still have to finish up the programs, menu, send out thank you cards for my showers (this past saturday).

have to work on the bathroom and flip flop baskets.

finish up the bridesmaids gifts bags.

the OOT bags will be done closer to the date once i know how many rooms we have.

We will send out our invitations next week, most likely. I still have to sign the contract for our rental chairs, order and then iron our fancy linens, order and make all of our favors (trader joe's truffles in little ivory favor boxes), figure out my program and escort card strategy (diy or use Reaves Engraving who did our invitations), finalize our ceremony music and readings, make sure FI is on top of his tux stuff, and figure what to put in our welcome packets/bags. And of course get a license. Anything else is probably pretty small. Already decided on all of the bridesmaid gifts, and buying them will be easy (mostly gift cards). My friends all like shopping and eating out, so that part was easy.

We've only gotten one RSVP back so far. For DIY we still have to make the table signs, welcome bags, programs, bar menus (when we decide what there will be), assemble centerpieces, get rehearsal invites, and order candy for the candy buffet. Also we will need to get gifts for the wedding party and get our license.

Ours will probably go out next week, really small wedding so I wasn't as concerned about getting them out until 8 weeks before. We have centerpeices started but need to finish those up, favors won't be made until late July, and I have to find gifts for our 1 attendant each.

We will be sending our invitations out at the end of next week as well. In a couple of weeks, we are going to select readings and songs and write the ceremony with the help of my uncle, who is officiating. I also have to do my hair and make-up trials and my dress fittings. And I need to make programs and finish the centerpieces. So much to do, but Wednesday is my last day of work for this school year, so I'll have lots of free time coming up!

We sent our invitations out this morning.

As for DIY items, I have to make our cardbox (on my list for this weekend), finish the programs (waiting for a good cardstock sale), make escort cards once I know who is coming, make OOT bags once I know how many I'll need, and make our favor boxes (getting homemade maple creams from candy shop in my hometown, so will need to be done closer to Aug). We are getting our marriage license in July, and have 2 more wedding party gifts to get. Other that that everything else is done

Ok glad to see all these posts you've reminded me of some things that should be on my list! Some things I can't complete until July when I am back down in Charlotte for a few weeks before the wedding (silly to make them here in Cincy and risk them getting ruined on the way down!) I already wrote my fiance a list of wood work to complete this weekend while I'm in New York for bridal shower #1! He said it seems do-able so I'm psyched!

I have so much to do, LISTS AND LISTS of things today. (the biggest things is I never called to actually BOOK our tent YIKES!) But I have NO time to do anything with my hours at work. My invites are going out in the morning so that is a big check I guess.........

I think I should get my butt in gear!

Our invites went out last week. Get a slow steady flow of them back daily. I think we are up to 14 guest out of the 159 that were invited. Still need to get dress fitted, finalize reception/bar menu, finish up some centerpieces (hopefully flowers will grow that we planted for them - they are sttarting to come up!). Meeting with the organist tonight! Programs to be completed and finalize up some other reception items like the chalk boards. They are all just little, but I know they will take some time.

Im an August 17th bride but thought you guys wouldn't mind me hoping on here!? This week SO far, my Mom has assembled and stamped the RSVP cards, tomorrow we both took off work to go see a florist (one of 3) and then we are coming home and hopefully, FINISHING the invites..I ordered my 2 bridesmaids dresses this week, I still have to order my daughters flower girl dress..Im go glad we went with a place that does all the centerpieces and my Mom bought table favors a few months ago. She also went to Michaels and got pretty purple, clear and yellow stones to scatter on the tables and liliac silk petals..She has been sooo helpful to me with me working 6 days in a row, she said she has more time to put in to getting things. I guess the biggest thing to work on after the invitations is picking out our flowers and then done till July when we meet with the venue to go over our food and we have to meet with the DJ to give him our song list..I can't believe its 72 days away!

I'll be sending my invites out next week hopefully, scrambling to finish them as our original RSVP idea (to print our addresses on the envelopes) didn't happen and I moved back to my hometown to care for an aunt. So, I have been hand addressing them!!

DIY- I still have to get programs done, find and assemble flowers into bouquets and bouts, also find flowers for centerpieces (unless my aunt lets me use some from her garden which she mentioned). Also, have to finish figuring out church and reception decorations.

I still have lots of checks to finish, so wish me luck!!

Invitations went out on Tuesday and we have gotten 4 RSVPs back so far Most of the DIY stuff is done other than the favors which we will be doing begining of August.

Go August 18,2012!!!! I sent off invites earlier this month and have gotten back around 15. Still have to send off another round of invites,DIY programs, favors, and little details! Yay, it been a Long road! Good luck ladies and remember have fun!!!!
