Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :)

Re: Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :)

  • I think I may get to stay here! I love my makeup. Unfortunately, it's not loving me lately-my face is going CRAZY. Normally H is pretty "meh" on if I wear makeup or not, but the other day he actually suggested seeing the dermatologist. Thanks babe Undecided

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :) : In the alternate universe. I just said that I'm so used to working out at home that I forgot that wearing gray tights to the gym is a bad idea.  Butt/crotchsweat at home is NBD, but it is not ok in public.

[QUOTE]I just time warped here too. This thread is much more active! Musical, I don't wear face make-up. I wear mascara, eyeliner, and MAYBE eyeshadow if I'm feeling it. I do have a rather intense skin care routine, but I don't bother with foundation. I hate how heavy it feels.

</div><div>That's very sweet. Sounds like he might not be a douche canoe. </div>
  • I can NEVER get foundation light if I put it on. I have tried so many brands, methods, etc. I just suck at putting it on. I look like a piece of cake if I wear foundation. The only thing I can do if I'm really feeling like I need something is translucent powder.
  • I used to wear concealer a lot in HS and right when I met J since I didn't want to scare him off, haha. My acne has cleared up a lot now though so I don't care as much. My skin certainly isn't perfect but whatever. I think since I was a dancer, I just got used to never wearing it much at all because having makeup on while dancing every day is gross.

  • I didn't miss the buttsweat story. I was in the alternate universe just long enough to read it. Lucky me :)

I would have only been 2 years old at that point, but I love me some Jethro Tull.
Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix...good music right thar.
  • I'd like to beef up my skin care routine, but I'm kind of lazy about it because my skin's in pretty good shape. I don't really break out as long as I wash my face twice a day.

  • I guess my routine isn't that crazy. Clean & clear face wash - $5, neutrogena toner - $7, and clean and clear moisturizer $5. If I have a little zit forming, I put some neutrogena spot treatment on it and usually it clears up. I go for the cheapest stuff. I used to spend way more, but I've found my favorite stuff is the cheapest.

  • They are, poke, they are. :)

Sometimes I wonder if any of my coworkers actively notice that I don't wear any makeup. As far as I can tell, I am the only woman in the office that doesn't.

  • My dad has a big work emergency that he's had to deal with all day... apparently some people stole the president of the company's car and crashed it and 2 of them were killed. It's a whole big mess. I'm not entirely sure why it's his issue to deal with, but he's been on and off the phone all day.

My makeup can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 or more minutes, depending on how carefully I apply it and whether I do a full face. I rarely wear foundation, except if I'm going out at night. I wear mineral makeup instead of liquid and I like it... it seems to be less heavy.

</div><div>I LOVE that stuff! It even works on my white heads. ( My cholesterol was sky high until I went on meds..so I got white heads from the cholesterol. )  Saved me a ton of money since I used to go to a dermatologist to get rid of them...especially the ones around my eyes.

  • Holy crap, Angel. That sounds insane and terrible. What does your dad do for a living?

  • That sounds awful Angel. I'm sorry about that.

Jill - I find that hilarious.

  • I am SO irritated with the DirecTV and Viacom dispute.  My channels better come back soon.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the post office to stop sending us the mail of the previous owner?

<div>I doubt they actively notice. I might notice in passing if a co-worker doesn't have anything, but I don't care. ;p I do actively notice when people wear way too much makeup.</div>
