Same here. Depending on how I am using it, he actually likes it. O.O

  • Hahah I guess I'm playing it in my head as a cutesy pet voice.
I'll give you a better one.
    "Bad! Go sleep outside!"

  • "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ON THAT COUCH!??!?!"

The silly pet names & baby talk with which I bombard my parents' dog would probably send SO into a diabetic coma.

    It goes both ways, though...

SO's parents' dog, bless him, is as dumb as a sack of hammers. I believe he actually answers to "dummy." After a night of playing with the dog & calling him "dummy," "stupid," etc., SO said to me, without thinking, "C'mere, stupid."

The look on his face when he realized what he'd said was the most epic thing I have seen in at least six months. I was laughing too hard on the inside to make him sleep on the couch or the like.

  • Bahahah we have 2 cats and the nicknames we have are ridiculous:
Puma (because of her stubby tail) is nicknamed: Pooper Cocktail
Aurora... she's just "fatass" and "dummy".

    It's all very loving.

  • I tell Hogan "Good come" all the time.  FI would think that was awful strange!

  • Drop it! Leave it!

Or we say, in a high pitched voice to our dog, "Maya, want a treat? Are you hungry?" Saying this to a child might fly...but it would be weird to say it to an SO.

  • One of my cats has long fur, so I always say "Look at that little fluff-butt! Who's little fluff-butt is that??" when shes running around in front of me. I dont think BF would appreciate that one...

  • "Do... you... wanna.... GO OUTSIDE & GO POOPIES?!"

  • 'PEE-PEE POO-POO TIME??'

Or, as it's been with Freya lately: 'STOP SHITTING IN THE HOUSE.'

  • I call Dexter my "big booty judy" cause he's a little chunker. I also tell him he's got a fupa which even though he's male, it kinda works cause a cat IS a pussy, and poke his pooch. I can imagine a man wouldnt be very happy with these things.

"OFF!" I mean, I could, but I usually don't want to...
  • I tell Rajah "Time Out!" all the time when he doesn't listen.  He has to go into a room for 30 seconds to a minute after that...don't think SO would appreciate being put in a room for a time-out.  :)

  • I may be late to this party, but I saw this post and had to add to it.  I have bunnies, and I'm always telling them:

    "Stop chewing on that!"
    "No biting!"
    and, of course,
"Would you stop pooping on the floor?!"

I also tell them they have fluffy butts.  Sometimes I tell FI he has a fluffy butt (he doesn't).
  • After spending some time at my parents' house this weekend, I have a couple to add...

    "Go pee pee!"
    "You're not getting any food."

  • I call my dog "fatty". He's a fat chihuahua! But, if I called SO that, he'd be pretty hurt. Even though he's not fat at all.

I have a Dexter too!  His nickname is stinker butt...I call the big one stinker butt too if he is a farty ass.  Every now and then I'll say come here stinker butt and they both look at me!
