Why do people think it is okay to butcher the English language on online forums? I can't look away from this train wreck, but the grammar and spelling make me want to take a steel spork to my eyes.

Re: FFF
Oh MrsTay whatever is one of the favorite trolls(?) on the SB board. I think one of her 2010 threads made their "best of" list last year.
Speaking of... One of the girls on my Month Club board (Feb 2012) has a ticker for TTC.... SINCE APRIL 2010!
I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
To NM & anyone else thinking about renewing this today: Can we please let the name change drama go? The arguing about it over here has outlasted the actual name change itself, so it is time to let the issue die. I get the point about trauma, it's noted, please let this go.
Kendall - I commented on that thread... it was pretty hilarious.

Sorry that sucks! I'm sure the company will set you up with someone new who is just as great.

See... I would have never figured that out. I guess she thought that it was a word like "nontheless" that had to be ran together? Maybe?

This provided such great entertainment last night...her most memorable quote is "you hatters be hattin". She has such a way with words, that Ms.TayPrince. Too much sticky icky indeed, Brianna.
I flame myself for completely being checked out at work. Seriously. I am being 100% unproductive and I need to give myself a kick in the rear.

I have gone to you for 5 years, pay you hundreds every three months for daily disposable contacts and buy your expensive ass glasses every year (well, until I found Coastal Contacts this year...haha.) I have a weeks worth of contacts left and now get to find a new doctor, thanks a lot for this.

Hatters be Hattin! HAHA I forgot about that gem.
So I don't know if it's allergies or if I am catching something (again) but my throat hurts.
I flame my eye doctor. My appointment is Monday at 4:30pm, they called yesterday evening but I was working out and didn't finish until they closed. I called this morning to confirm only to find my appointment cancelled due to "lack of response" and no available appointments until the last week in April. The week of my wedding I only worked 2 days, but I use worked in the very loosest sense. More like spent the day on the Knot/Facebook and took 2 hour lunches with my friends.

Thanks for the welcome. I can honestly say that I am glad to be home but I would totally have stayed on the boat for another couple of days.
On our cruise, we had to sit community style with three other couples. I didn't have a problem with this and even my very shy husband was fine with it. The other couples were: married from Vegas, married from Memphis, and two guys from Virginia (no, I'm not going to speculate about gay or not--I don't really care). The couple from Vegas was very strange. They would only sit next to each other even though it would have been easier to get to know everyone if we had all sat across from one another. That having been said, she never said anything and all he talked about was how things on the ship compared to things in Vegas. AND, they made reservations to one of the specialty restaurants where men needed to have a coat and tie and the ladies needed to wear something nicer than work clothes and didn't understand why the restaurant wouldn't let them dine there in their shorts and Mickey Mouse t-shirts. "In Vegas, we don't have to dress up and we have some of the best restaurants in the world." At one point, I was ready to push them overboard and tell them to swim back to shore and go back to Vegas as quickly as possible.
If you're going to cause drama, don't be stunned when people turn their backs on you.

Oh WTF that's ridiculous. IDK what part of the metro you are in, but my eye doc at the Walmart of Montfort and Beltline is always great. I've been going to them for 4 years.

I flame my coworker. 1.) She was telling me how slow it has been in the office this week and how today would be even more dead and hinted at taking it off. Then our boss tells us both to take off (how often does this happen? You don't have to tell me twice) and she freaks out because then neither of us would be here and there would be people to handle and phone calls to be answered (complete opposite of what she was just telling me) and the crab would be mad if she found out and that if I was going to take it off then she would just come in. Can you get any further up her butt? 2.) Her son told her that they are pregnant this weekend and she wh0red it out on FB. Only problem is that they hadn't told anyone, which was their first mistake because they didn't tell her that it was a secret (not that that does much good) and they hadn't even gone to the doctor yet to confirm it (they just did 1 HPT). Then she has the audacity to tell me that it's her right as the grandmother to be the one to share the news, not them.
Stephanie - Trust me you are not alone! I think I smell a random poll in the works... lol
I flame my neighborhood. A house alarm went off on a house down the street from us last night. It was on for a good 10-15 minutes and it was SO loud. The guy across the street stood in his driveway for a bit and got in his car and left. Another guy shut his door and turned off all of his lights when he saw DH walking towards him to see if he knew the owners of the house because they weren't home. Then the cops finally show up about 30 minutes later and didn't find anything- well no crap it's been half an hour.
House alarms are ridiculous. We actually had someone break into our house the day after Thanksgiving while we were out of town and the cops never came. We got a call on DH's cell phone from the alarm company, told them we wanted them to alert the police since we were unable to confirm if it was a false alarm. I asked my cousin to go over to see if it was a false alarm, he confirmed we had two busted windows in the backyard, but no one was in there. He sat on the front porch for two hours and the cops never came. Insult to injury, we pay the city of FW for an alarm permit - for the express purpose of them coming when the alarm goes off.

I read that as "mine weasel," which would've just made me confused the rest of the post when there was no other mention of a weasel.
Since someone else brought up eye doctors, I'd like to flame mine/my vision in general. I have an updated Rx and new contacts/glasses, but I still can't read any of the signs/things on TV my FI can. And at work, people comment all the time on how close I sit to my computer monitor. I'm pretty sure something's off.
If anyone has an eye doc in or near Ft W, I'd appreciate the rec. Or if you had eye surgery ... and can talk me into not being afraid of it...recommend that too :)
As far as the Pregly girl, I feel bad for her for getting picked on so horribly.
I flame myself for not doing much cleaning during my time off for Spring Break, so now I feel obligated to do it today.
