Question for Towers Brides

I love the Towers!!

Couple of questions though-who set up your tables, table numbers, escort cards, etc? We are using Simply Divine catering (they are great by the way), but we are renting the linens on our own because we found a better rate. Do the caterers normally set the tables up and things like that? I know our florist will take care of centerpieces, but I'm not sure about the small details.

    My caterer said they would do the decoration set ups (esspecially the tableware).  I just asked my catering coordinator - you should ask Simply Divine :)

    We are using West Bay Gourmet and they set everything up as well as (even more importantly because of the strict time limiations in the Towers contract), they take everything with them and I can pick it up from them in the days following the wedding.  

    Most catering companies will take care of the basic set-ups for things because they have to set up other things (i.e. your linens, place settings, etc.) before anything else can be placed but it depends on each company the extent to which they will arrange/set-up additional items  I went through what I was envisioning with K.C. at West Bay before we booked both the Towers and them as our caterer.  West Bay will set-up our gift table, escort cards, photos, and other small touches we would like as part of their service.  Some others may do this as well but may charge additional, etc.  

    Since you are already booked with Simply Devine I would suggest checking what they are willing to do (and get it in writing) and then if they are NOT able to assist with additional set-up you can either arrange for a good friend to help out earlier and/or look into a day of cooridnator who can assist with those details.  Also make sure to find out what is happening with everything at the end of the night.

    MY caterer is also setting up everything. We have a DOC who is also going to be helping- but we totally don't need her. the caterer offered to set up anything and everything from bathroom baskets to flip flop baskets to tables and linens. anything that isnt supplied by another vendor (ie a linen company) we just have to drop off 3 days beforeour wedding
