  Do you happen to have a Pearl Factory near you?  It's one of those pull-your-own-pearl places.  On our honeymoon, DH and I each pulled a pearl and I got a beautiful necklace for them, it might be nice for you to create a set together.  (The trick, apparently is smaller and uglier oysters, which yield giant and gorgeous pearls.  I followed this advice from my MOH and pulled an 8mm silver pearl on my first try.)
  
  An eBay search for "irregular pearl earrings" turned up several promising hits.

  Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married.
