Where did you register

I'm starting to set up registries and I'm curious where people tend to register.  Any recs or positive/negative experiences would be very helpful as well.

Target won't let you do a return without a receipt, so if you don't think all of your guests will include them, you might want to avoid the place.

Eventually, I'll be registering at Macy's and somewhere else, but I haven't decided on the second place yet.

It only lets us pick one place.  We registered at C&B, but also BB&B and we are registering at Sears as well for FI (power tools and whatnot).

We registered mainly at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond.  We had only a few things at Crate & Barrel.

We also did myregistry.com which allows you to register for anything.  Basically it's like a wish list and people can order from websites directly but this place holds all of your items in one place.  It would have worked well but I think some people were confused about it.

BB&B and Macy's.  BB&B is wonderful about returns!  We got some steak knives that we hated and we returned them 5 months later without even having the boxes.

Crate and Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond and Pottery Barn.

I registered at Target but only because they send me a mailing that was good for a $20 gift card if I registered for 10 items. We registered for a vacuum and things like that but we aren't going to publicize this registry due to the return policy-I'd rather work with C&B or BB&B.

My sister and I both found the Target registry to be not so user-friendly.  Their return policy isn't that great either.  Like the others, we ended up with BBB and Crate & Barrel. GL!

C&B and W&S.  Both were easy to deal with both for registering, returning/exchanging and completing the registry w/ the 10% coupon.

Crate and Barrel, Macy's, and Williams-Sonoma

I wanted to do Target, but was turned off by the return policy.

    Macy's and BB&B.

We've had multiple shipping issues with Macy's: one package was totally destroyed, another lost and reshipped TWICE. But their customer service has been good, as has BB&B's.

    Macy's, BB&B, and C&B...and a couple things at W-S

I registered at Sears and The Pampered Chef.  Sears was awful.... for me and my guests.  Pampered Chef was super easy, guests just ordered online and the rewards were great for me.

BB&B was fantastic. We had someone with us the whole time to answer all of our questions and help us with the registry. We also registered for a few things at Crate and Barrel which was fine too.

We registered at Williams-Sonoma and B&B. We did not have any issue with both.
The WS registry site is really nice, with thank-you note manager and allows you to see who gave what, while you cannot do it in the BB&B one.

We are going with Crate and Barrel, BBB and Restoration Hardware.  As a guest I have had horrific experiences with Target and some problems with Macy's.

Bed, bath and beyond:  you can return anything for cash
Target:  its a little tricky but my sister works there and you can return without a receipt as long as teh item was on your registry.
