I woke up with a sore throat this morning. I've been drinking hot tea, but I was curious what you ladies do for a sore throat! share your remedies here PLEASE!
Vitamin C tablets, hot tea and a big old tablespoon of honey! Local honey works best, but anything off your grocery store shelf should work. That triple whammy usually takes care of it. I had a sore throat today and yesterday, so I'm in the same boat.

In Response to Re: ideas for a sore throat:
I always gargle salt water. It's quite unpleasant, but you will feel a little better afterward. Chloraseptic works well, too, but I try to avoid it since it's technically poison. Posted by Elle1036
This is why I never tell my mom when I have a sore throat! She would make me do this!

LOVE this! Also...An old home remedy for sore throat is tea made with lemon, apple cider vinegar, cayenne, and honey. A typical recipe would be made by adding one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, the juice of 1/4 lemon, and one teaspoon of honey to a cup of hot water and then stirring. Typically, up to four cups a day is suggested.
I gargle listerine. But non-whitening stuff. Other mouthwashes don`t seem to work as well though I find. I also take lots of vitamin C and drink lots of tea with honey. If it`s so sore I can`t eat I drink Gatorade.
