Robes

I think I want a new robe for after we get married. I'm pretty sure I'm not looking for anything sexy, just lounging. What do you have, would you recommend it? Would it be totally tacky to put one on the registry from BBB?

Re: Robes

  • i am not sure about registering for one. but i got mine at kohl's and love it. it's red with pokha dots, i think that it is whatever knock off brand vera wang does for that store. oh BTW vera wang is apparently coming to David's Bridal...
  • What? Her sales must be down...

  • yeah no kidding! i couldn't believe that when i heard it! i had a hard time finding a robe i liked...i actually bought one that i thought worked fine until i found my heiny hung out the back...
  • I don't think it's tacky, but it's a little unusual.  I'm not sure if this even makes sense, but for some reason, it might be less weird if you registered for his and hers robes. (?)

  • I have a really comfy one from target and also a wrap-around one I use when when I get out of the shower from Victoria's Secret PINK collection.

  • My sister bought me one a while ago from aerie (American Eagle's lounge/underwear line).  I LOVE it.

There are also a few from VS that I've had my eye on.  They make them in a jersey material, and then the towel material.

I also received one as a gift from BB&B from the Hotel Collection. It's super soft, but 'sheds' a lot.
  • I love mine from BBW that they sell generally at Christmas times in their stores, but i think you can find them online all year round.  It's super soft, doesn't shed, and is washer and dryer safe.  awesome!
  • If you want a monogrammed one, there are a bunch of etsy sellers that have really cute ones.
