My boyfriend of 17 months recently asked me for the heirloom ring I have. It's just very pretty and meaningful - it was my great aunt's. I'd told him I'd really like it to be my engagement ring a while back and he was open to the idea. I gave him the ring last week after he asked for it. So, things are moving forward....whoohoo!
