Coffee theme in the Spring?

I just got engaged and am in the very early stages of wedding planning.... My fiance and I fell in love over coffee and feel that a coffee themed wedding would very much suite us and our story...We are wanting to get married in spring of 2013....

How can I have a coffee themed wedding in the spring and not make it feel too much like fall with brown being a main color? Any suggestions??

I see nothing wrong with it, as long as you put a nice spring color in with the brown. For drinks, you could offer iced coffee, as well as the regular kind since people drink it year round.

I was also thinking a nice light colour with the coffee brown. So much goes with it! Lillac, a lighter shade of yellow, a powder blue, light shade of green, etc.

I love the combination of ivory, chocolate brown, and french blue. Green would also be a lovely compliment.

I think if you avoid pairing brown with reds, oranges, yellows, etc. it will not come across as fall.

Some spring-ish pairings could be brown with any of these: sage green, pale pink, mint green, light blue, light purple, etc. None of those would seem autumn to me.

You could also have a coffee bar at the wedding. Some venues offer these, or if not, I'm sure you could find a separate vendor for it. I attended one wedding where we were able to go up and order cappuccinos, lattes, etc. They had a greatly reduced menu but it was still kind of fun. You could also name your tables after popular coffee drinks to bring in the theme without going overboard.
