I have so many questions. Ok, so we are having a reception or celebration after we get back from Vegas. I'm torn as to whether or not I should wear my wedding dress again for the reception or just wear a nice dress. What do you guys think? We will have a photographer there taking pictures.

If you have a reception at home, I would recommend inviting the same group of people that you invite to the ceremony in Vegas. If that's not feasible, I would say wear a nice dress and tone down the wedding-ness. If you're eloping, it may be a different case...?

<div>ROFL she would have a field day with this. OP, my recommendation would be to wear another (perhaps a short) white dress instead of your wedding dress, particularly if the folks invited to your AHR aren't the same folks that were invited to your ceremony. </div>

Ditto all of this. And lsvensson.
If you are inviting people you couldn't afford to invite the first go around, don't call it a reception either... Nothing wrong with having a big party back home, but you get to go through the whole reception bit on your wedding day. Once back home, tone it down, I'm not as good some of the other people saying it, but it's like telling your not invited leftover guests "OK HERE is something we can afford to include you in."<-- IF you call it another "reception."
IMO.
Any suggestions of what to call it?
