Where is everyone?

The board has been so slow!  Whats everyone up to today?  Any good weekend plans?
I have a client out of town so I am free until 3:30 today (and all week!)  I have been doing so major spring cleaning and starting on our wedding cookies for the cookie buffet (freezing them) 24 done--975 to go! haha

    I have been going nuts in the 4 week wedding crunch. I have SO much to do and I really don't think it will all get done.

    Probably doesn't help that I am knotting while my son naps instead of wedding checklist stuff!!

    Does it count that I at least have the wedding checklist up on my computer??? Gotta count for something...

    Well we did have our final meeting with DYC last night to finalize menu, colors, and timing details. We also went out to dinner afterwards which was great since we get date nights about once every 4 months.

    I have no excuse for being such a wedding slacker since I don't even work, but making favors and cutting programs are hardly the choice activity for a 2 year old boy.

    Beantown, I know you've had the new siggy pic for at least a few days now but I love it, so cute!

    I'm just working working working. DH is working nights for the next 3 days so I have some freelance projects to finish up at night and I'm looking forward to catching up on my DVR. So exciting, I know!

    FI actually has a weekend off! He only gets one every 6 weeks so we'll be spending most of our time together. Monday I am going dress shopping with my mom and a few BMs. YAY!

    Weekends off are great!  I work Saturdays and until May 31--I never realized how much working a year worth of Saturdays would stink!!

    Busy weekend.. cake tasting is saturday (yay!!) but the rest of the day will be rough. My family cat is very ill and I am going to my parents home in NH to basically say goodbye to her. They have to put her down after months of struggling with her health and watching her deteriorate. Sorry to be the downer here :(:( She had a wonderful long (16 years) life.

    Monday.. I am watching a friend run the marathon!

    I miss everyone!  I've been busy/traveling for work, so kind of MIA.

    Lexi, I made the butterscotch potato chip cookies for Easter, and they were a huge hit!

    Well, tomorrow at 3:30pm starts my April Vacation! Hooray for being a teacher! This coming week I am going to all of my final detail meetings, creating my programs, assembling the OOT bags, buying all the candies and cookies for our buffet and getting our marriage license! Woohoo! Bring it on :)

    Star our cake tasting is Sat too!  So much for the diet!  Can't wait tho! Then registering on Sunday!  Fun filled wedding weekend!

    -Sorry about your family's cat... it is always so hard to say goodbye to pets.

    I've been working and not doing any weddnig planning. I may be getting on board with this whole cake thing soon. Apparently a lot of bakers are booked for the summer 2011 WTH?!
    This weekend I'm seeing my step dad for the first time since FI and I got engaged which was in January!  and I'm discussing the plans for the engagement party with FMIL.
    Oh and doing some day drinking while watching the Marathon/Sox on Monday...and I'm really excited to have a 3-day weekend!!

    Friday spending time with FI around the house.
    Saturday going out to dinner with the girls on the Charles for a b-day
    Sunday spending time with both families since we haven't seen anyone since Easter.

    Ugh, working working working!  I wish I could quit my job.  Damn mortgage...

    We're going cake tasting too on Saturday!  This is one wedding planning thing I have been looking foward to!  Icing on the Cake! 

    Other than that, i am just happy to have a long weekend to catch up on stuff.  Who knew how much work planning a wedding can be.  I need to respond to our florist and my makeup artist, both a week overdue.  I suck.

    I'm going to Saratoga for the weekend to meet with wedding vendors and check out the space with the florist then next week I'm flying to Texas for my little sisters wedding. My poor parents... there two daughters getting married 3 months apart.

    Sitting at home watching HGTV with FI... he's so determined to buy a home. D: But I don't want to stay in CT!! I also set up a few appointments for tomorrow to go dress shopping with FI!!

    Working with the officiant on the ceremony. She sent me a draft today and I read it on my phone at work and I started getting all choked up. :o)

    Buy some totes for the bridesmaids and groomsmaid. And then work on all the details!
