HELP! I'm picky! Venue help/Budget Wedding

I've been engaged for 2 years now. My fiance and I are paying for the wedding on our own and are still trying to not over do it. We are wanting to spend under $15,000. I've looked at all the venues on here and searched the web for the perfect venue, however I guess I'm too picky. So if anyone can help from experience PLEASE DO!

I'd really like to hear from other brides with the same budget and style if possible.

Venue needs to hold 175.
Needs outdoor and indoor ceremony space. Would prefer the ceremony space and reception be seperate. Needs indoor space for rain plan.
Going for a rustic/vintage/country or Texas chic vibe.
Love exposed wood or brick.

Dependent on the time of day, Ruthe Jackson Center in Grand Prairie is VERY budget friendly and can have the rustic feel you want.  It willl depend on how you style it.  I have seen it super frou frou and all the way down to lodge-y.

Aristide for a Saturday day or evening is around $18,000 as of this past February :(

I loved it, but it was so high compared to similar venues.

I can't help because the rustic venues I looked at were indoor-only. (Stockyards Station in Fort Worth). Maybe check the ones this photographer lists? There are several where he mentions "rustic" in the description. FWIW, I know that the Artspace 111 he mentions is very budget-friendly and BYOB/catering.

But OP, you could try some places like the OW ranch in Grandbury. I'm not sure of the cost though.

There is also rough creek lodge in Glen Rose, but I think it's more than your budget.

Old Red Courthouse? I don't know if they have outdoor space though, or what the cost is.

I am getting married at the Howell Family Farm in Arlington.  There is an outdoor space for the ceremony and a beautiful barn for the reception.  They said that you could also do the ceremony inside the barn as well.  The "barn" has never been used for animals and has chandeliers hanging.  It is $5000 on a Saturday and $4000 on a Friday.  You can bring in your vendors, and they don't have a lot of rules!  Here is the website:

P.S. The pictures on the website are not awesome, but it really is beautiful!

Are there any areas that you're willing to give in on?  Are there areas that are more important to you than the others?

While I loved my wedding, I would have married DH in a box. Yes, I had the things that I wanted, but I wanted to be married to him more. At the end of the day, where you get married is the fluff.

What about Cross Timbers Winery in Grapevine? http://crosstimberswinery.com/

They have a gazebo, party barn, pretty grounds, and Aimee Ybarra the event manager is super sweet.

    Good luck and congrats!!!

They don't have an outdoor space. I'm looking for the same thing you are and no luck after 20 venues. As of now #1st chocies are Occasion and Capella. I'm 150 people for 15,000-17,000.
