Guys are dumb - they always try to "not hurt" the other girls feelings, which they don't realize gives them false hope .. they don't get how girls are, we'll hang on to any thread they give us. Just remember, he's your husband for a reason, not hers. Doesn't matter what she says, or how he replies - he's still all yours. (unless of course he replies by saying he wants to go get lunch, then we'd have a problem!)

Ummmmmmmm is it just me or did another girls thumbnail photo just appear by my name?

Nevermind - I'm back in my own thumbnail photo. That was weird. It was a natalie portman in Black Swan moment when the mirror is a different girl and then back to her. Help!

oods, the knot is insane and does crazyyy things. And Fiji is EFFING FAR. I have to fly to LA, then LA to Fiji, then small plane to where the resort is. I might need to drug myself for all of that flying! I get SO BORED so fast.

B2B- I'm super jealous. Not of the flights, obviously, but of the destination.

Bring an ipod/kindle/computer/earplugs.... I'd probably take some nyquil and sleep the whole way!

I think its a bit longer than that. NCV would know, she's gone to Fiji. A lot of times you have to stop in Australia or New Zealand. Plus I think you lose a day or two with travel and the date line.

Did NCV go from here or from England? Yea it takes like 2 days or someshit to get there total. Ridic. But I am not going to argue with FI. It was like pulling teeth for him to find the HM destination to begin with.

northstar- that girl sounds a bit lonely. im glad you can laugh at it.. my as.s would have probably deleted the message. .. (crazy? lol perhaps!)

ysl- sometimes i type a really big vent and then erase it.... it just feels good to get the thoughts out.

You do cross the date line as well. I left Fiji at Aug 18th at 10pm and arrived in LA on Aug 18 at 1pm. Crazy! I was soooo jet lagged as well, horrible.

I went on the way home from my first international living adventure in Oz. I actually stopped on the way to Sydney as well but didn't leave the airport just sat there for 5 or so hours.

Get a seat upstairs on the plane if you just do economy there is more room. Although I am really into premium economy now. We upgrade now, it's usually cheaper to buy econ then upgrade.

The more that I'm thinking about the flight there is longer, I think, maybe 14 hours and the flight back is 11. You are against the jet stream going and with it coming back.

It's the same going to the US from here it's a longer flight.

Are you flying direct to LA? I didn't and I got stuck in ALT for 6 or so hours jet lagged and then my mom made me go to work at her store the next day. Horrible.

Oh that is horrible. Why would she make you do that?! Yea we should have a direct flight to LA. I would die if we have to stop too many times. Can I bring Melatonin on the plane, that is allowed right? And I am glad the way home is shorter because we are flying against the jet stream. That was like that going to Slovakia, it was like an hour or so shorter.

Melatonin is supposed to be great for jet lag! You can take it on a plane.

I know immigration took food away from me or honey or something weird.

I would think you'll be in with melatonin though.

Ok great thanks NCV. I know they are silly about things but I kinda figured pills are ok to bring. I will have to force myself to sleep on the plane, flying to Slovakia nearly killed me because I did not sleep.

Dear Mortgage Loan Officer,
Remember when we killed 100 trees Monday signing papers, and one asked if we had access to a fax machine, and I said NO and signed and dated? Well, NOTHING CHANGED IN 2 DAYS! I'm not the one that forgot to print a paper out for me to sign, so please stop emailing me asking when I'm going to fax it. Yes, FI has a fax machine at work they won't mind being used for personal use, my work does care. So you will get this sign, dated piece of paper when I get it to him and he can fax it over along with the 10 million other things that was NOT included in the "things to bring" but is needed for this fun process.

NorthStar - I'd be curious if DH tells you about it. From prior drama with his ex, we usually tell each other about that stuff. I'd rather him tell me, than her surprise me. I found something like that one his FB once, I didn't say anything. Then right when he came in the door he told me something weird was going on... ended up being his ex making a false account to "prove" he's cheating.

NorthStar - Girls are crazy, and Fi's ex is their queen! If it weren't for his kids, FI would be done with her, but he tries to be civil... she however doesn't try. Ew complimented each other? Really?! Well he's with you, so obviously he didn't feel the same way.
