Morning Reception Entertainment Ideas?

My fiancé and I are on a tight budget & we have decided to have a morning wedding and brunch reception (from 11-2:30).  We are both very laid back, and not much for dancing, but I would like to have some sort of entertainment at our reception.   Does anyone have any ideas for entertainment for our guests?

    Just because you aren't into dancing doesn't mean your guests aren't.  I would at a minimum, have background music playing so if guests want to dance they can. 
    Good food, good music and good company makes for a great time!

    I think you should still have dancing. 3.5 hours is a long time for people to entertain themselves.

    Also, I wouldn't really consider 11-2:30 brunch time. That is solidly in lunch territory. Depending on how filling your brunch is I doubt people will stay that whole time.

    We didn't have dancing - everyone at my reception totally mingled - NON-STOP. We had music playing in the background (iPod with love songs), but no room/place for a dance floor, but it added to the ambiance and it wasn't "awkward" or anything. Our reception was from 4-at least 10 (that's when the husband and I left) and people were still hanging out, eating, and enjoying the photobooth!

    It think a string quartet or trio, or a jazz band would be perfect for a brunch reception. 11 to 230 is definitely brunch time. Good music and mimosas would definitely keep me happy and mingling for the length of your reception.

    A string quartet or jazz trio would work well.   You could also just do an iPod with soft standards (Sinatra, Michael Buble, stuff like that).

    I don't think you have to have dancing or a dance floor but background music (that isn't so loud that people can't converse) would be nice. Just eating may take up an hour or more and then people can mingle/socialize. Realize that not every guest may stay the whole time (most don't at evening receptions either), but I think background music (whether live or on an iPod) plus good food and beverages are all that's needed.
