You can FBMail or PM me the answer, but do you consider yourself a Large or a Medium w/LTS?

I just looked up what Long Tall Sally was. I had no idea there was such a site! Very cool.

Okay, I am impatient so I bit the bullet and ordered a cardigan.  In a Medium.  I hope I can squeeze my arm fat into the sleeves.

I'm sure you're fine, Skankenstein. I'm pretty sure I'm bigger than you and I wear a medium in most things.

I usually buy a large, but I figured that if these clothes are made to fit tall people well, it would allow for more room in the shoulders and length, so a medium would be okay.  For $30, it's worth trying.

I think I may ask that all of my Xmas presents come from this site.

I would think that they're cutting for the appropriate proportions. At 5'9", my shoulders are certainly broader than my friend's at 5'4".

Let me know how it works out.

I don't usually have trouble finding things to fit properly, but I think if you get much taller than me, you certainly will. Normal shirts become crop tops, and forget about finding jeans or a one piece bathing suit.

Sorry I was MIA.  Yes, you're probably OK to go a size down in LTS. Or adjust down if you are between sizes.  I think my shirts from there are L, and I'm bigger than you.

That is the beauty of this stuff - it's not just a longer arm length or longer inseam. They actually fit the clothes to a 6' tall model. So *everything* is proportioned better. Shoulders are broader. Armholes are lower. Bustline is adjusted (for darts or empire waists or whatever - I'm so tired of having empire waists come across my nipples). Torso length is longer. Rise is measured on a tall person (so you aren't showing buttcrack unless that's your goal).

I hope it works well.  What did you get?

    I purchased this:

I have a lot of cardigans, but I'm sick of just plain monochrome cardis.  I figure I could pair this with black, gray, white, etc. and have some options.

Cute! I am a slore for cardigans. I might not need one, but if I find a cute one, or a slightly different style, I tend to buy it.
