DH's school is out today and tomorrow for "fall break."  He told me he would be working these two days and even the weekend.  But guess who is still sitting in the family room and (gag) clipping his toenails?  I hate watching or listening to other people cut their nails.

A few weeks ago in church there was a guy sitting on the front pew clipping his nails all the way through the sermon.  I could hear it sitting 20+ feet away, and from my perch in the choir loft I could see other people stairing in his general direction trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. Ick.

    ugh.  in church? good grief. 

    I worked with a guy who wore mandals and clipped his toenails at his desk. He was not well-liked. 

    I think husbands get a pass in their own house, as long as they clean up the clippings.

    people do this on the subway and it makes me want to vomit. Do it in the privacy of your own bathroom.

    apparently God was sending a message to church guy - did the clippings fall to the ground in the shape of Jesus?

    I'm with DG on getting a pass in your own home, provided the clippings are cleaned up, and they are not using a food-related surface to do so.

    I wouldn't be so irritated with DH is he wasn't supposed to be at work right now.  He will complain about "working all the way through his vacation" but doesn't go in until noon.
