If I want to have my high school teaching license in the state of Illinois, I need it. Test is on Saturday and I feel incompetent because I haven't had a Latin American history class since sophomore year of college. Damn you, Porfirio Diaz.

Didn't have wings. I did the buffalo chicken dip that's posted a couple posts below. And yes, it was dee-licious. Bright orange, but so very tasty.

My sister is a spanish teacher! She majored in Bi lingual education. Now she's working on her masters.

Bueno! I love teaching. And Spanish. Just not stuff that I had to learn for tests 4 years ago and re-learn now. I'm in a masters program right now actually. I've been teaching for the past 2 years full time while working on my masters. It's a private high school, so a license hasn't been required since I'm in the program. It's kind of like Teach for America, except in Lutheran schools. I graduate May 16 and will have my licenses in English and Spanish education... granted I pass the tests!

Good job, OWN! My mile counter is stagnant. My legs are just too messed up after my half--I'm waiting on my custom orthotics to try anything serious mileage-wise. It sucks.

Thanks! Sorry to hear about your legs - when are your orthotics coming in? When I did my (one and only) half last september I was pretty burned out on running for a couple of months afterwards.

They said 2-3 weeks for them to come in and it's been 1.5, so hopefully sometime next week.

Yeah, I'm kind of burned out. I just have so much crap going on with the wedding that I can't really put that much energy into running, and if my body is telling me it hurts I'm not going to push. I start marathon training the first week in June--I'm probably just going to focus on cross-training and strength training until then. And getting through the wedding.
