Wedding venue

So because I heard some not so good reviews about Chapel of Flowers and the Flamingo I decided to start my search over again. Does anyone or has anyone had their wedding at Mandalay Bay, The Grove, or Emerald at Queensridge? This sucks that i'm starting our search all over again Frown

I've only seen positive reviews about Chapel of Flowers and that is where I am having our ceremony.  Of course it depends what you expect but I am going to Vegas to get married in a little standalone chapel.  Getting married in a hotel does nothing for me.  I know the area around it isn't the best a friend took lots of photos for me so I know what to expect and I am fine with it.

It all depends on what you want, if you want the Vegas feel, go with a stand alone chapel, if you want to have a more formal then one of the casino's...I personally wanted a little bit more formal and went with Mandalay Bay, but I went to a wedding a COF and it was nice...

I'm getting married at COF in March and my dealings with them have all been very positive. I have read tons of great reviews about them on both wedding and travel sites. They consistently get 4-5* reviews on Trip Advisor.

I too wanted stand alone Vegas chapel. I can get married in a hotel here in RI, but we wanted something simple, elegant and fun.

We choice Mandalay Bay, though only looked at hotel chapels as we wanted to be able to have our ceremony and reception at the same place.  We have had nothing but positive dealings with all staff at Mandalay Bay (we've stayed there 3 times now) and love our wedding coordinator Angela!  The Chapel is gorgeous and there are many reception options for all different budgets and group sizes at Mandalay Bay.  Obviously, I'm a bit biased, but I have nothing but good things to say about Mandalay Bay.

Our wedding will be in March, and we went with Mandalay Bay for a few reasons:

    * On the Strip but not in the middle of the worst of the traffic
    * You don't have to go through the casino to get to the chapel (I'm deathly allergic to cigarette smoke)
    * Lots of reception choices are just a quick walk away (Our reception dinner will be at Rumjungle)
    * The vibe and decor are just what FI and I wanted (Elegant and doesn't look like a church)

Our coordinator is Mischelle and it's been great working with her.

Have you looked into Treasure Island? The prices are a lot more reasonable than many of the other hotel chapels. (Comparable to Flamingo, I think?) But I thought it looked really nice.

If you want a stand-alone chapel and don't end up going with Chapel fo the Flowers, you should check out LIttle Church of the West. It's super-duper cute. It was a very close second on my short-list.

I liked the Grove too, but for me, being on the Strip was a priority.

I have tried contacting Treasure Island but I still have yet to get a responce from them. I actually faxed them yesterday to see if they would reply.
