lol isnt addressing invites fun! lol ehh I hated it. It depended on the street for me. But I would do 101 Tenth Street. If it was 101 SW 16th Street I would write it like that. I would write out each persons name if they are not married or are and have different last names! The married couple I did Mr. and Mrs. John Doe.

The 16th/sixteenth is tricky!  What about Southwest/SouthWest/South West?

Figures are used in zip codes and housed numbers.  Numbered streets are written out.  For example: Fourteenth Street, not 14thStreet, or One Hundred and Twenty-fifth Street, not 125th Street.

I honestly didn't sweat the small stuff. In the end most, if not all of these people won't notice if you addressed the invites wrong (or not properly).

With the question above: I just write 101 10th Street
I would be careful about spelling out 10th. Only because there could be a Tenth Street and there could be a 10th Street. You could end up sending it to someone else. FI's aunt lives in Vero and her street address is 9th Court. If I were to write it as Ninth Court it would of been delivered to someone else. So I would just keep it simple and do the number as opposed to the spelling. HTH!

if a couple is engaged, write:

Ms. Jane Doe and Mr. John Smith
    101 Southwest Sixteenth Street
    Miami, Florida 33333

If the street numbers in the area are writen as numbers (exp 10 street ) then id put 10th street if its writen in words (tenth) then go with that....remmeber letters go through machines that arrange the address and if u complicate it too much the letter will be returned to you or sent to the wrong person.. GL

and again dont worry too much about it... no one ever notices those things :)
