Not to beat a dead horse (again), but here's a suggestion - to make it interactive, if you wanted to talk about something specific, put it as a question - like, "My son's birthday is coming up and I'm super excited!  Does anyone have any ideas for celebrating?" or "Does anyone else have kids?  When are their birthdays?"

Everyone is still on this for spelling and grammar errors.  I have not even made another post,  Go on with your life and let this rest.  I've got the point.

Nowhere in Cate's statement was there a single reference to spelling or grammar. Talk about letting things rest.

She was stating conversation wise, and gave me topics as references.  I was simply letting her know that i had not posted.  Letting her know what others where telling me.  Not getting after her.

    Who posted pornographic images?

And who was vulgar or obscene?  Where was the defamation?  I think that's just silly - the worst this thread got was sarcastic and a little condescending.  And to be honest, I at least was trying to be helpful.  I do think people tend to be a bit critical of grammar/spelling, but it can definitely be difficult to read things that aren't written well.

But this thread was overall helpful!  Danielle's attempts to check her spelling and grammar have greatly improved the clarity of her posts.  Sure, I was a little frustrated so I was a little blunt, but the result of this thread (and of my suggestions, if I may be so bold) was that Danielle learned how this board works and has now participated on several other threads in a productive way.  She even asked a question about her son's birthday that has turned into a good thread.  I dare say this is a success!

    Nat,

You need to take a deep breath too. Yes, people were harsh, but you are overreacting a little now. Me thinks you need to lurk more too. At this point all you are doing is chumming the waters.
