Bridal Shower Invitations?

Good Morning:)

I was wondering when the people who threw your bridal shower sent out the invitations? Or what is standard? My mom is unsure, so I thought i'd ask you ladies.

For one shower, it was 6 weeks, which I thought was a little early since you generally only invite people who are local to your shower. For the other one, I was in charge of mailing out the invitations and I went with 4 weeks. Both showers had an excellent turn out so I think that time line was pretty good!

Mine were sent out about a month before. I think that is pretty standard.

im MOH in my sister's aug wedding. i sent the invites about 5 weeks in advance. however, it being a summer wedding, i really wish i had sent it a couple weeks earlier. we've already gotten 8 declines

i would say 'standard' would be 6-5 weeks, but if it's a busy time of year, maybe a few weeks earlier.

FI's Grandma and Aunt sent out ours about a month in advance. I think my Mom is planning on doing the same for the one she's hosting.
