Journalistic Photographer Portland

Hi, I am looking for a journalistic photographer in the Portland area and was budgeting around $1,500. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My photographer is a photojournalist at the Statesman Journal and she does travel. We are both located here in Salem and she is costing us $1,000. I am unsure how much of an increase she would charge to travel to Portland. Check her out. Be patient, it takes her 2-3 days to respond to e-mails usually.

granted, it's been a bit, but we used Power's-they have a bunch of photographers, each with their own style.

We used Craig Mitchelldyer, he's one of the best. Christina Gilchrist would be a good one too.

We just hired Craig Mitchelldyer. We were also looked at Brandon Schmidt http://www.fotovitae.com/ , Daniel Stark http://www.danielstarkphotography.com/ , and 2nd Sun http://2ndsunphoto.com/ , all of whom had a similar photojournalist look and were quite reasonable.
