Places to Take Pictures

Our wedding ceremony is in Bloomfield Hills and our reception is in Troy.
We want a few different places to take pictures in between time. Any suggestions?
I want to do at least 1 geocache wherever we go because I think that'd be awesome! So I am hoping there is one nearby, that we don't have to go crazy in hiking.

Also - We are coming downstate in May for our engagement pictures with our photographer and need an idea of where to go for pictures. We kind of did the natury thing with our engagement pictures up here...So urban or something "different'" would be awesome.

Thanks for your help!

I'm assuming you want to take pics between Bloomfield & Troy, and not go downtown on your wedding day.

The main court at Somerset Mall is fabulous, not sure if they care if a bride & groom walk in for pics. It's off the back of the north side.

Troy has an old village, link here, with old buildings, chapel, etc

Also, google lakes in and around Oakland County. I recall one of the cities in the area has a park on a lake, just can't remember where. Maybe someone else does.
For your urban engagement photos, the Tiger in front of Comerica is always a good bet. The walkway along the Detroit River, and there is a carousel there. Map here:

Belle Isle with the fountain, plus you can get great pics of the city sky line in the background.

    Good luck.

Birmingham might be cute in the busy hustle and bustle of downtown.
