Re: Invitations

  • I'm having them made by a friend who has a card making business.

A lot of girls get the DIY kits from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Vista Print is also popular.

  • I'm going through Mygatsby, they have a lot of choices for designs and also a lot of ability to customize colors etc.
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • I used Vista print but pretty much only for the printing purposes. I designed them myself and uploaded them to a blank template.

  • Vistaprint! I ordered them at the end of January and they are already in. I used a groupon and ended up paying $30 for 80 invites, rsvp cards, business sized cards for inserts, and about 40 thank-you cards.

  • We're actually getting ours from David's Bridal. It's the only site I could find that had dimple black and champagne invites.

  • We are printing our own and having all the paper cut at a local print shop.  I designed it off an invite I found on Etsy, but the seller was charging $4 per invite, not including any other inserts.  There was no way I was willing to pay that.  Doing it this way, we are getting the design that we want without the hight cost.

  • My sister is designing mine. she is a graphic designer and has her own invitation company. they are being printed by a local printer near me.
  • I won free invites from Minted.com on a blog contest. I had been looking at a design on Minted, but they were WAY over budget. I saw the blog contest and decided to give it a shot, and I won : )

  • I bought my kits today from Michaels. I am so super excited. I tore open the box when I got home just to see what they look like assembled and I can not wait to print them. 90 invites for 100 bucks. Cannot go wrong there!

  • I am ordering mine for Wedding Paper Diva. You can order a sample invite for $1 to see what they will look like. I order the sample and if I like it, I will order them.
