Hi Ladies- I know I don't post often, but here goes. I am getting married in NJ on Aug 25th (11 days away!!!). Anyway, we ordered the BM dress for my sister, and the 2 jr. BM dresses (on for my future stepdaughter and one for my niece) from the same shop in NJ. My future stepdaughter lives in CT (Where I live) aalthough an hour away from me and we have her every other weekend. ANyway, my 2 other BM ordered their dresses local to where they are and got them back in June.
Here is the problem: My sister in NJ BM dress still isn't in. The jr. BM dress that was sent here to CT was the WRONG dress. Well, right dress, wrong size. I don't see my future stepdaughter again until thw wedding!!! We are overnighting the dress for my niece back to NJ today and my mother is on her way to the shop (they aren't picking up the phone) to get the other dress (which we knew was too small for my niece, but the girl insisted that it fit) and Fed Ex it here. I now have to take ANOTHER day off from work to drive the hour north to get my stepdaughter bring her down here to my FMIL (she is a seamstress), have it fitted, and then bring it back. Did I mention that the wedding is in 11 days in another state??? I am a mess over this
I'm sorry but I really needed to rant and rave about what an awful experience this has been. I will be sure to post the name on the NJ board when all is said and done, but I can't believe this is happening.
