storing the dress..

so i just ordered my dress, they thought it was going to have to be made so it should have taken many months...instead they found one in stock in my size..and its in!!
My wedding isnt until NEXT june..
Question: best way to store it, where...to avoid discolration and anything else that could happen!?

    Mine has been hanging in the garment bag in a closet for a year and a half.  No discoloration and there isn't any issues with it stretching due to hanging for so long.  If you're really worried, I've heard the best way to store it is in a white cotton sheet and lay it flat under your bed.  Not a great idea if you have any pets though.
