  I started her on rice cereal about a week ago (5.5 months). We tried mango on a couple of days to a mixed reaction.
  
  She's getting better about opening her mouth for the spoon, but she gets frustrated that the food isn't coming as fast as the bottle and starts chewing on her hands or the bib (making it harder to feed her.)
  
  Her 6mo checkup is a week from today, so i'm going to talk to her pedi about food at that  - we discussed a little at 4mo checkup, but want to follow up. We're leaving for vacation next Thurs, so will probably start with the homemade baby food when we get back.
