Hair and Make Up Trials - How soon?

Hello everyone. Just curious about how far in advance I should have my hair and make up trial. I felt like I got a ton of things done between Dec. and Jan. surprisingly, and now I feel like I'm drowning in to-do's again! Don't want to let this fall off the radar so was looking for some guidance on timing.

    your wedding is during a pretty popular time of year so I would maybe start looking 5 to 6 months ahead? I booked my makeup in December for an April wedding and she laughed at me because I thought I was so early... but I also just booked my hair last week... a whopping 6 weeks before! If you don't book it months in advance you'll still be able to get someone, but to make sure you get whoever you want you might as well start looking!

    I actually booked my makeup artist about 11 months out and booked my hair stylist about 10 months out.  I am really picky with hair and makeup and wanted to make sure I got my first choice.  Therefore, I definitely don't think it's too early for you!

    I book 11 months advance for both, youd be surprised how quickly your "favorites" book up. Plus I didnt like my first makeup trial so who knows how many you might have to go through to get the look your going for.

    I booked my hair and makeup a year in advance because I knew she was popular and books very quickly.

    I just booked my hair stylist and i'm still looking for the right MUA. It's a little less than 4 months to my wedding.

    My wedding is 9/23, and I booked my makeup artist in February (3 others I wanted were booked already when I started researching them in December).
    I am going for my hair trial in 2 weeks and plan to book her in March.

    Well I thought I was early 8 months in advance, and some of the people I've called seem surprised, yet then again many people I really liked were already booked.
