Good morning ladies! I think I'm starting to finally get in the Christmas spirit

Maybe I'm just happy that it's Friday and I get to wear jeans.

Also? I must rub or scratch my eyes in my sleep because every once in a blue moon I wake up and one of my eyes will be really bloodshot. It only lasts for, like, half a day and it doesn't hurt or itch or anything, it's just red. It's annoying, though, because I'm vain, haha.

Today is an errand running day since FI and I are off work. We're also going to see my mom graduate college today! We're so proud.

I don't know. It's only ever one eye at a time. And it doesn't itch or hurt or have any discharge (ugh, I hate that word, but I can't think of a better one) or anything. Just red.

I just got a call that my BIL "kidnapped" his baby b/c he found out the mother was cheating on him. This is going to be an interesting morning. Mr Stack and I just spoke and seriously want to somehow figure out how to get custody of this little girl. Poor thing. She's seriously just a pawn in their ridiculous relationship.

Morning!

I think my scale was smoking crack this morning because it said I lost 2 pounds this week and I definitely did NOT do any dieting. I don't know what was up with that, but I'll take it!

Good morning!

I am also happy it is Friday. I am supposed to be off all next week but my days still haven't been approved so I'm freaking out a little about that. I have some room for error, I guess, because we aren't leaving until Tuesday night, but I wanted time to get my apartment really clean before we left so I wouldn't be overwhelmed when I got home. Oh well.

I know right? I just feel so bad for my MIL, she gets left to clean up all the crap that they cause.

ETA: Yes, Mr Stacks brother. And you'd never in a million and eleven years think for a second they were raised in the same family because they are completely different from one another.

Wow. Ok. Now the police are involved (baby is fine and at SIL's) - but I probably shouldn't post the details I just heard. Lets just say the mother is getting some good hits in on BIL but isn't scared of the police b/c she claims she can make sure BIL gets arrested too. ....:::::facepalm::::..... Now BIL is probably fired from his job that he just started this week that he didn't show up for today - and FIL is missing work to deal with this juvenile behavior as well.

I want to kick this girl in her teeth and pull the rug out from under BIL at this point. They're pretty much worthless.

Anna, I realized I never answered your questions last night (sorry!). I'm not going to Sweden - I've been before, so I'm not burning to go, I only have 1 week of vacation left til April and would rather use it to go to Hawaii for our anniversary, H will be there a month so I couldn't see all his games anyway - and yes, handball is really big in lots of parts of Europe.

stacks- I hate when people put kids in the middle of their drama. Even if you don't get custody of her, at least just by being present in her life and showing her what normalcy and reliable family looks like you're doing a lot.

Haha, that's a nice thought but very unlikely. Only one team from all of the Americas gets to go to the Olympics because the teams in North and South America just aren't as good as teams in Europe, and it's basically always Brazil. Maybe Argentina. But Chile basically just competes for third best in the Americas (which they currently are).

Sadly the Pan American Games, which Chile will go to, are in Guadalajara next year...not quite as exciting as London.

Birdie -- last summer my WiiFit said I lost 23 lbs. one morning. I would have been excited except that I KNEW that wasn't the case. I rebooted it, stepped back on, and it was all "OH JUST KIDDING, YOU CHUB." Fail.

Our wii fit is collecting dust right now. Whenever I step on the thing and it's the rare occassion it says, "Great" then I know it's going to be bad and I've gained weight. It sets you up to p*ss you off. I'm sure of it!
