I'm not sure if any brides out there are still considering this location, but I happened to drive by yesterday on our way to Haleiwa and I saw a "for sale" sign in front of this property.  I don't know what this would mean if you had booked a date in the future and the property sold, but I am guessing you would get cancelled.  Seems like a lot to go through for a location that there are already a lot of concerns about.

    Yep, I just drafted a letter to get our deposit back and booked at Lanikuhonua, though that was before this.  Thanks for the heads up.

    Hm.  I wonder if it all just got too expensive for the owner.

    Yeah, I'm geared up for a fight for this one.  Hopefully if it goes poorly we'll be able to get the cc company involved to deal with it.  Good thing we went the credit card route.  Lesson learned to be more careful about the deal that sounds too good to be true!

    Yeah it's actually been up since we booked.  It was one of my first questions.  The property manager said it was the properety thats actually in front but on the side to them thats being sold.  Sounded weird but they were still building onto the second house even the day of our wedding, nice i know.  We FINALLY got our deposit back almost three months later so good good luck to you Mocha.  I know there were negitives for us so much my hubby was planning on writing a complaint letter and he rarely goes that route but i think after everything was said and done we were very happy with the place.
