BF made me cry

I just got a text from my BF. We were talking about a new hobby and how he's excited about it, but then he switched and started talking about what really makes him happy is having me in his life and where our lives are going together and how he was thinking about that last night as he was watching me sleep. My first reaction was "Oh no! I hope my mouth wasn't hanging open as I slept!" Then I started smiling, and as I kept reading it made me cry, lol. I love him so darn much!!

Anyone else sappy and start blubbering when your SO says sweet things?

I was about ready to come to Toledo and kick some butt!

I'm glad bf just made you super duper happy! My bf has been super lovey dovey lately, but I'm not the sappy type most of the time! lol

Haha, thanks, but no bum kicking necessary at the moment.

It just kind of caught me off guard because we were talking about ham radios, lol, and I just did a workout so my emotions were probably running a bit higher than normal too.

Don't you just love those "it couldn't get any better than this" moments??

I was really stressed out this past weekend. I went to a bridal shower where I knew no one except for BF's mom and his FSIL (the bride-to-be). I'm generally not a shy person, but all of the girls already knew each other for years and either had kids or were pregnant...so I had absolutely no way to jump in to any of the conversations. I drove both ways with BF's mom (1.5 hrs each way) who I love. Only problem is that she is not so sure about the wedding and is very hurt by some of what's going on with that. I love both "mom" and the bride-to-be, so the drive was awkward to say the least.

I completely lost it when I got home. I was venting and crying...and BF just laid down next to me, rubbed my back and listened. Needless to say I feel better about the whole thing now...thanks to him being so supportive and comforting. Goodness I love my guy!

Allusive: Sometimes they don't even have to say anything and they make you feel so much better, just by being there for you. I love a guy that can just sit and listen until you're done... luckily I've got one of those guys too! :)

Andrew will occasionally say things that stop me in my tracks.. A couple weeks ago we were looking at houses online and Andrew said, "I just envisioned our kids coming home from school in that house."

In my head I was like, "What? SQUEE! OMG! AAAHH! HOORAY! HUZZAH!"

But in real life I said, "Oh- that's nice, sweetheart. We'll have to make sure to check out that neighborhood."

Yes, FI does that every once in awhile. He isn't very expressive, so when he sends me a text as simple as 'Have a good day. I love you.', my heart beats a little faster. :)

YES!  I love when FI is sweet to me, which is very regularly.

Last night, I was working (as a waitress) and this old couple came in, holding hands.  They've been married for 70(!) years...and still hold hands.  It warmed my heart and I immediately thought that I'd like to be that cute with FI in 70 years.

AW  How sweet :)  I was a bit nervous that it was going to be a bad story - glad it wasn't!

DH came home last night and as I was cooking dinner he walked directly into the kitchen, wrapped his arms around me and said "You're such an amazing wife".  AW!  That makes any bad day turn into a good one.

I have been feeling sappy and emotional lately. I heard this song that came up on my iTunes the other day that has been on there for ages, but I had never listened to it. I was blubbering like a fool when it ended and I just kept playing it over and over and crying. It's so good. It's country, so I don't know if any of you would like to hear it haha

BF is a hopeless romantic. The texts, calls, in-person lovey-doviness comes out all the time. Especially when he's drunk... god, when he's drunk. lol
